| | | | | | the crate 8 problems have resurfaced. the slot
| | | | | | and subaddress numbers for crate 8 channels is
| | | | | | not correct in the YBOS banks. it appears
| | | | | | that bits are being dropped, as the slot
| | | | | | numbers in the YBOS banks are unpacked as being
| | | | | | even numbers, but all of our fastbus modules
| | | | | | are in odd numbered slots. also, there are
| | | | | | blocks of unpacked channel numbers that are
| | | | | | repeated in the bank, again suggesting bits
| | | | | | are being mangled data words in the YBOS bank
| | | | | | for crate 8.
| | | | | | the data itself looks o.k. and could possibly
| | | | | | be salvaged offline.
| | | | | | recall about a week ago a similar problem. bit 2
| | | | | | of tof channel numbers straight out of the ybos
| | | | | | banks was always on. that data could be recovered
| | | | | | rather easily by revising Raw and counting on the
| | | | | | fact that all ADCs are read out. the strange thing
| | | | | | is this "bit2" problem magically disappeared when
| | | | | | the experiment started running again after the wed
| | | | | | april 15th break.
| | | | | | we got 12 million triggers with golden tof data
| | | | | | up to the surfacing of this variant of the problem
| | | | | | (i.e. up to approximately ~2576).
| | | | | | the status is: yesterday al casper repaired some
| | | | | | bent bins in crate 8, and he checked the voltage
| | | | | | supplies. with the replacement of the 1821, data
